Cree LED Lighting was recently awarded the contract to install the Area Edge Series lighting at the historic Glendale City Hall in Glendale, California. The low profile and sleek design of the Area Edge Series was beautifully integrated into the city hall's 20th century architecture, as if it was meant to be there from the very beginning. Glendale City Hall now has a modern look and effective illumination to showcase its greatest structural features.

The Cree Area Edge Series is ideal for illuminating any open-space application including pathways, large common spaces, and parking lots. With a low-profile modular design this aesthetically pleasing luminaire provides improved illumination performance while reducing energy consumption. The Area Edge Series provides significant energy and maintence savings, which provides support to the historic structure.

LED has changed the way the world sees light. Inefficient, old-style incandescents and CFLs are being phased out by a lighting technology that can deliver warm, traditional light or a cooler, more contemporary white light, all while using a fraction of the energy and with virtually zero environmental damage.

The Area Edge Series by Cree LED Lighting blends seamlessly with the structure showcasing its warm and traditional yet luxurious feel. Integrating the new with the old  gives Glendale City Hall a fresh and inviting look without compromising the original design.
