When drafting the general plan for its city design, the city of Glendale needed to balance the city’s roots with the future needs of the community. Built in 1917, San Antonio Winery in Downtown Los Angeles is the last remaining winery in the area. As a historical landmark in Southern California for 100 years, it was important to the folks at Western Lighting & Energy Controls to assist in specifying the appropriate product solution for the outdoor site lighting.

Because San Antonio Winery is located in California, any appropriate solution would need to comply with the building energy efficiency sta

ndards set forth in Title 24. These measures are designed to ensure new and existing buildings achieve energy efficiency and preserve outdoor and indoor environmental quality.
