Southern California is a great place to live—and it’s a great place to do business. But we do tend to have a lot of regulations about how we do business! And if you’re in the lighting control business (whether you design, install or specify lighting systems), those regulations can have a pretty significant impact on you and your customers.
Title 24 is a pretty hefty chunk of code that will impact the lighting industry when it goes into effect this month. The new code will affect new construction on residential and commercial projects—including additions and alterations to existing buildings.
Here’s an easy way to stay up-to-date on what’s going on with Title 24. Click here if you’d like to be notified about Western Energy Control Solutions events where we’ll provide our clients with the latest information that will help you comply with Title 24.
Keeping up with regulations, however, is only part of the challenge facing those of us in the lighting industry. We all want to keep abreast of new trends when it comes to products and installation. At Western Light Source, we do our best to keep current, and we also work to pass that information on to our clients.
