Western Lighting is committed to continuing education in Lighting & Energy Control. Here is a list of upcoming events.

RadioRA 2 Level 2 (L2) Training is an instructor-led, two-day course that uses fully functional lab equipment to build a stronger foundation and understanding of L1 Training concepts and cover advanced concepts of the RadioRA 2 Inclusive software.

Advanced concepts include networking, commissioning two main repeater systems, timeclock programming, HVAC programming, 3rd party integration, and troubleshooting. Upon completion of the course, attendees will earn access to the RadioRA 2 Inclusive software, allowing for projects with two main repeaters and up to 200 devices.

Prerequisite: Completion of RadioRA 2 Level 1 training.

Cost: $650 (includes optional hotel)

Feb. 4-5 • Lutron RadioRA2 Bootcamp

This FREE two-day course is designed to give you a better understanding of the Lutron RadioRA2 system.

RadioRA2 is a wireless (RF)- only system ideal for new construction and retrofit applications. You can use the existing wiring to install the majority of RadioRA 2 devices.

RadioRA2 is perfect for mid-market residential applications. This solution will give you the ability to adjust the amount of daylight, electric light, and temperature throughout your home. The system also turns off standby power to small appliances when they're not in use.

This class provides an overview of RadioRA 2 system architecture and Clear Connect® RF Technology, RadioRA 2 products, software programming, and the Lutron difference.

Who should attend? Residential contractors.

This course provides a solid background in the basics of daylight control, fabric selection, and system design. This class features a multitude of hands-on workshops and a final project that will test the application of all covered topics. Upon completion of this course, approved attendees will be qualified to sell, specify, purchase, and install the full line of Lutron Shading Solutions.
